The Right Way To Party

Status Lounge is up and running at full speed and our guests have enjoyed the first few weeks at the club.  There are a few questions that have come up over and over again so it is time to post some of these as well as the answers online.

What is the Dress Code at Status on Saturdays?

We wanted to keep our dress code simple - allowing enough individualism for you to look your best, while at the same time promoting a "dressed up" atmosphere to seperate us from the local pub.  Here are the simple rules to follow:

Guys:  No baseball hats or other sports attire, dressed up runners are acceptable, but "running shoes" or basketball shoes are not.  No shorts or sandals.

Girls: No baseball hats or other sports attire.  Sandals and shorts are acceptable.

How do I get on the Guest List?

The easiest way is to fill out the form here.  Remember that your WHOLE party must arrive at the same time.  If you have 5 of you coming at 10:15 and 5 arriving at 10:45 put two people on the list to seperate into 2 groups.  This keeps things moving nice and quick at the door and ensures that those that arrive early get in without having to wait outside.

What is the point of bottle service?

If you have a group of 5 of more and you generally like the same alcohol (let's say vodka), you can get a place to sit, have a selection of drink mixes, and most importantly you get passed the line and don't have to wait for drinks all night.  Drinks from the bottle cost only $.13 each more than waiting at the bar (standard bottle).

Mash It Up

DJ Chris La Roque brought his world famous Mash-Up style to Status Lounge this past Saturday.  Keeping the crowd moving and chanting with hits that ranged from OMG by Usher to classic drinking tunes like Friends in Low Places by Garth Brooks.  You never know exacytly what song is coming up next, but you know you are going be pleasantly surprised at just how La Roque brings it to you.

The atmosphere was electric and the party goers enjoyed a great night.  Our promise of a safe and enjoyable night spot that packs the most party Oshawa can handle is proving to be a great success.

Don't forget to book your bottle service reservations early to avoid last minute dissappointment!
